From blind-individualism to conditional individualism!

Historically people in west have been successful with the concept of free-economy and individualism.

However, this system works well as long as we have a room for expansion.


In other words, this system does not work well when we have not enough room for expansion or satutared condition from now on.


Pilgrim Fathers escaped from Europe to the U.S., which gave room for expansion.

People in the U.S. looked for the West for expansion.

Then the U.S. companies went for international, multi-national, and now economy is global.


As you can see, global means saturation, endless-roop, and thus, now we have hit to the limit and we have live with limitations and restrictions from now on.


In other words, all of us are on the same boat, which is on earth with limited natural resources and drinkable water.

Under this condition of global economy, blind-individualism is not suitable because we have to deal with limitations and restrictions.


By the way, fundamental assumptions of free economy and individualism is abundant resources and no limitations which is no longer ture.


Conditional individualism is best suitable for this condition.

Conditional individualism means pursuing for individual benefits on the condition that it does not hurt the benefits of the whole when we confront with limitations and restrictions.


For example, drinkable water or energy is getting scarce and thus each of us should not waste water or energy, something like that.

If we change our way of thinking, this is implementable through education.


I strongly propose to abandon blind-individualism and switch to Conditional individualism.

In case of enterprises, we can implement this through use of global anti-monopoly laws and regulations.


Although we do not have a global government yet, we should at least agree on creating global anti-monopoly laws and regulations.

Who can do it?

As far as I can think of, the U.S. government is the only hope I have got and thus I am asking you to consider my proposal for the benefit of the whole, global society.
